$19-23/hour
Responsibilities
- Preparing equipment which includes: washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs.
- Loading and unloading equipment which includes: proper instructions on basic operation, checking for damage on returns, documentation on condition, loading and unloading on trucks and trailers.
- Assisting customers and helping with all departments of the store.
- Sweeping and cleaning which includes, helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay when needed, trash disposal.
- Assist with composing rental agreements and occasionally work assigned duties at the rental counter.
- Always operate in and maintain a safe work environment; obey safety rules and wear required safety PPE.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Positive outlook and excellent communication
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year general labor experience is preferred
- Valid driver's license in good standing is preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Physically able to operate construction equipment and forklifts.
- Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and around fumes & loud noise.
- Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
- Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes and loud noise.
