Compensation and Benefits:
· Wage range is $20.00 - $23.00

Position Summary: The Warehouse Lead is a highly skilled leadership position on the Warehouse team. In this position, the Warehouse Lead will be responsible for supervising, training, and leading small projects conducted within the warehouse. These duties will include: Picking, double checking, and preparing Distributor and Wholesale customer orders for shipment, and print Packing Slips for Sales Orders, communicating prioritization of orders, keeping staff on task, general Housekeeping and Forklift operation. In addition to the standard warehouse duties, the Warehouse Lead will be responsible for ensuring the accurate inspection and receiving of incoming shipments, shipping freight orders, performing inventory cycle counts, and directing Level 1 and Level 2 employees in executing tasks as delegated by the Assistant Logistics Manager. The Warehouse Lead will play an integral role in planning the future success of the department by working with the Assistant Logistics Manager to act proactively to address issues that may, or do, hinder the successful operation of the business. The position holder will be trained to cover for any absent positions within the warehouse.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervising and training Warehouse Level 1 and Level 2 employees
· Assisting Assistant Logistics Manager in operations planning
· Assisting Assistant Logistics Manager in scheduling LTL pickups
· Picking, double checking, and preparing Distributor and Wholesale customer orders for shipment
· Shipping parcel and freight orders
· Coordinate incoming shipment receipt and documentation
· Forklift operation
· Coordinating warehouse labor to meet company goals
· Accountable for meeting food safety requirements
Marginal Duties Performed Less Frequently:
· Assisting with picking of raw materials and packaging for Production facilities
· Stock rotation
· Raw Material and Packaging receipt verification
· Performing inventory cycle counts
Learn and understand established metrics for department success
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will be responsible for training and supervision of Warehouse Level 1 and Level 2 employees
Qualifications / Education / Experience Desired:
The position qualifications should include previous warehouse experience and proven ability to manage inventory and navigate inbound and outbound shipment coordination. The candidate should also have previous experience overseeing small teams.
Language / Mathematical / Reasoning Ability:
· Must have fluent ability to understand and speak English
· Must be able to follow documented procedures, may be written in English only
· May be asked to use simple mathematic equations (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division)
· When issues arise, may be asked to assist in the troubleshooting process
Must be a strong communicator, able to direct a team under changing circumstances
Supervision Given:
· Assistant Logistics Manager and Logistics Manager will be responsible for communicating position expectations, shift plans, cross-training and employee placement
· The backup for the Warehouse Lead is the Assistant Logistics Manager or Warehouse Clerk
