What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Position (Wood Working Skills a Plus) - Alternate Shift position at Bobrick Washroom Equipment, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities: (includes the following, other duties may be assigned)
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Understanding of Bobrick’s 4 Grade Quality System. Ability to distinguish and explain between levels of defect.
- Follow and maintain all aspects of quality
- Follow rules of engagement
- Opens bales, crates and other containers.
- Transports materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Communicates with the Privada shop, partition shop, Production Control (scheduler) and the shipping department regarding orders, hardware and inventory.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
- Uses computer to verify amounts of items received or distributed.
- Sorts paperwork for saws in priority order, notates special instructions and stages in proper locations.
- Counts items to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Pulls all parts and scans bar code for shippers.
- Places orders on pallet or stages orders for TPF (in designated location).
- Communicates with computer regarding all areas involving hardware.
- Maintains inventory control by the computer.
- Compiles pick sheets and/or issues from customer specification.
- Conducts periodic cycle counts on in-house inventory.
- Operates tape machine to secure packages.
- Uses pallet banding and wrapping equipment to package components for shipment.
- Operates miter saw to modify packaging material.
- Checks and completes paperwork prior to shipment.

- High school diploma or GED and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Capable of using routers, files and other shop equipment as directed and trained.
- Some shop or industrial woodworking, cabinetry or CNC familiarity experience are a plus.
- Must be able to organize own work and determine sequences of operations.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Effective communications.

Salary: $18.00/hour
Alternate shift. Hours are 7:00p-5:30a, four 10 hours days, $1.50 shift differential.
