Essential Duties and Responsibilities- include the following.
Below are the primary duties of a Warehouse material handler. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Always follow all safety guidelines. Wear all Personal Protective Equipment as defined under the company's Job Safety Codes for an operation.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, stacker or other equipment.
- Shipping and Receiving responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Assist in the packaging and shipping of finished products as needed.
Prepare TP materials for production by retrieving and delivering them to production areas as per production schedules.
Be detail oriented and ensure that parts are located in the correct bin location and are correctly labeled in those racks.
Demonstrates ability to accurately count independently
Qualifications

Education and / or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and / or two year's experience in shipping and / or material handling environment is preferred.
Language Skills
Employee should have ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, pick sheets, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, ability to speak effectively to other employees of the organization and vendors / or customers, a basic ability to describe issues, ability to ask and answer questions and ability to write routine reports and correspondence, such as production related emails, quality / defect reports and inventory count summaries.
Mathematical Skills
Employee must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to compute rate, ratio, percentage and draw & interpret charts and graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Employee must have ability to apply logical understanding to carry out instructions furnished orally, in written, and / or diagram form and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Employee must have the ability to learn how to navigate and operate within the company's computer program, Bobrick Infor System (CSI) and must demonstrate basic proficiency in MS Outlook, Microsoft Word and MS Excel.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Forklift license is required. Job requires knowledge and ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift, stackers, pallet jacks and carts.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work environment is typical open plant and involves standing, stooping, lifting, bending, reaching and walking. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
