Role:
Branch Sales Manager
Reports to:
CFO
Purpose:
Newly-created position to supervise the day-to-day operations of the sales department, as well as the day-to-day operations of the Austin branch.
Job Duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Manage and oversee all branch operations, including sales, profit and loss, and business development.
· Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch goals and objectives.
· Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
· Monitor and analyze branch performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process improvements.
· Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
· Collaborate with other branch managers and departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
· Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
· Oversee project management activities, ensuring timely completion of projects.
· Supervision of all inside Sales representatives
· Counsel Sales staff as needed
· Help drive sales volumes
· Control purchasing costs and inventory loss
· Oversee customer service and customer retention using best practice methods
· Assist Sales representatives to meet and exceed goals
· Provide necessary tools and learning resources for Sales staff development
· Motivate and guide Sales staff to continually improve personal job performance
· Work with CFO to set, meet and review financial objectives set forth by Upper Management
· Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers
· Discreetly monitor local competitors
· Handle all escalated calls/emails from Sales team, to assess customers’ needs and provide correct answer, path, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experience
Requirements:
· Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a sales or branch management capacity.
· Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of profit and loss management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and build relationships with clients.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth.
· Strong analytical skills to assess branch performance and identify areas for improvement.
· Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Unload supplies, inventory, and equipment from vendor trucks; inspecting material for minimum quality requirements.
Stock and transfer supplies, inventory, and equipment to appropriate shelf, bin or rack by a predetermined sequence, including bind location, size, type, style, and length.
Mark supplies and inventory with correct identifying information.
Pick and assemble customer orders from stock and package orders in boxes and pallets as per customer requirements.
Pull orders for delivery and load onto correct truck or transfer to packing area using a forklift.
Prepare shipping documentation for USPS, UPS, FedEx, LTL, SH, or Courier Shipments.
Adhere to safety policies, guidelines and training.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and customer safety policies at all times.
Must know how to operate a sit-down propane forklift and change the propane tank.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
