BOC Bank is seeking an individual who is interested in a growth job which will entail learning different aspects of banking and expanding your knowledge base. The teller position will require a customer-focused individual who shares our dedication to providing quality banking services with a friendly smile. This role involves daily interaction with customers, handling financial transactions, and contributing to the smooth operation of the branch. We are looking for someone eager to build a relationship with our bank team and assist our clients with their banking needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers and provide exceptional service by addressing their needs and inquiries.
  • Transaction Handling: Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, money orders, and loan payments efficiently and accurately.
  • Account Assistance: Assist customers with account-related questions, including balance inquiries, account changes, and product offerings.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve customer issues, referring them to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Compliance: Adhere to bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations and operational standards.
  • Cash Management: Balance cash drawers, report discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Cross-Selling: Promote and recommend bank products and services, helping customers find solutions that suit their financial needs.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Basic Math Skills: Comfortable handling cash and performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with banking software and general office equipment.
  • High School Diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Professional Appearance: Present a professional appearance and demeanor in line with bank standards.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
