Our team is available 24/7 with two maintenance hangars: the facility in Boca Raton, a new facility in Sarasota, and the MRT/AOG facility in Opa-Locka. All are equipped with highly skilled technicians and the tooling necessary to deliver quality, cost-effective service. We service Gulfstream, Bombardier, Falcon, Embraer, Cirrus, and Textron corporate/business aircraft.
Job Summary:
The A&P Mechanic will maintain, repair, and inspect aircraft to ensure safe operations within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines.
Required Skills/Abilities:
You must bring your tools.
Able to speak, write, and read English with sufficient oral and verbal communication skills to discuss equipment malfunctions and complete reports.
Minimum 3 years experience preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience working through specially designed airframe, engine, and undercarriage openings while standing on ladders or scaffolds; used hoists and lifts; required precision instruments and other necessary tools.
Thorough understanding of tools and testing methods to ensure the proper functioning of an aircraft, its parts, and systems.
Ability to read, comprehend, and adhere to manual instructions to resolve complex mechanical issues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software used to complete and maintain records.
Detail-oriented with mechanical inclination.
Superior and careful workmanship.
Ability to perform consistently under stressful conditions.
Ability to perform essential inspections and repairs.
Ability to learn new skills and methods of repairs.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Completing an FAA-accredited technical school program with a minimum of 1,900 actual class hours is preferred.
A&P Mechanic Certification by the FAA is required.
Experience with Gulfstream, Bombardier, Falcon, Embraer, Cirrus, and Textron corporate/business aircraft preferred.
