Veterinary Boarding Assistants are valuable members of our medical teams and play a crucial role in patient care. You will be responsible for providing direct support to the kennel and day care areas for the care of its patients. Come thrive in an environment that encourages learning and continued growth within the profession. We are hiring for a part-time weekend position, with a typical schedule of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with occasional additional hours if needed

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Animal handling and restraint
• Walking animals that may need support / assistance
• Engaging pets and play, providing a safe environment for doggie daycare
• Knowledge of cleaning and care, feeding / nutrition
• Administering medication to patients
• Maintain cleanliness of kennel areas
• Restock and organize kennel supplies
• Bathe animals and perform nail trims
• Constantly advance your knowledgebase and skill set
