- Provide professional grooming services, including bathing, drying, ear cleaning, brushing, de-matting, breed-standard cuts, teeth brushing, and nail trims.
- Confidently groom both dogs and cats with skill and care, adhering to breed standards and client instructions.
- Stay up to date with grooming trends and techniques for a wide variety of dog breeds.
- Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment safe, fun, and welcoming (e.g., sanitizing tools, sweeping, vacuuming, organizing, etc.).
- Maintain detailed records of grooming services for each pet.
- Engage in community outreach to attract new clients and grow your clientele.
- Experience: 2 years of professional grooming/styling experience.
- Skills: Proficient in scissoring and clipper work, with excellent animal handling skills.
- Tools: Comfortable using all grooming equipment, including tubs, brushes, scissors, clippers, and dryers.
- Personality: A positive, customer-focused attitude with a passion for grooming pets to perfection.
- Preferred (But Not Required): Formal grooming training or certification.
- Compensation: 50% commission (plus tips).
