Part-Time Groomer Opportunity (With Potential for Full-Time!)

We're seeking an experienced part-time groomer to bring their expertise to our busy veterinary hospital, with the potential to transition to full-time in the future. Must be comfortable grooming cats and a variety of dog breeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a genuine love for animals.

What You'll Do

Greet pets and their parents warmly and create strong, trusting relationships.

Provide professional grooming services, including bathing, drying, ear cleaning, brushing, de-matting, breed-standard cuts, teeth brushing, and nail trims.

Confidently groom both dogs and cats with skill and care, adhering to breed standards and client instructions.

Stay up to date with grooming trends and techniques for a wide variety of dog breeds.

Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment safe, fun, and welcoming (e.g., sanitizing tools, sweeping, vacuuming, organizing, etc.).

Maintain detailed records of grooming services for each pet.

Engage in community outreach to attract new clients and grow your clientele.

What We're Looking For

Experience : 2 years of professional grooming / styling experience.

Skills : Proficient in scissoring and clipper work, with excellent animal handling skills.

Tools : Comfortable using all grooming equipment, including tubs, brushes, scissors, clippers, and dryers.

Personality : A positive, customer-focused attitude with a passion for grooming pets to perfection.

Preferred (But Not Required) : Formal grooming training or certification.
