Bartender Responsibilities
Uphold our highest standard of hospitality by being welcoming, courteous, and professional toward the guests and fellow team members at all times
Initiate interactions with guests as they approach the bar and continue casual conversation throughout their dining experience
After completing a comprehensive training program, bartenders will be expected to use their detailed food, expansive beverage, and service knowledge
Execute detailed steps of service with high attention to detail in a high stress, fast paced, multi-tasking environment
Master the execution of classic and craft cocktails with recipe strict adherence, proper mixology and pour techniques, as well as make drink recommendations for the guest based on their preferences
Participate in continuous education in food and beverage knowledge during the course of employment
Responsible for completing appropriate setup, running, and closing side work duties, including stocking product behind the bar for smooth execution of service.
Maintaining a clean and organized work station behind the bar at all times
Financially responsible for bar drawer, proper cash handling, providing change, and closing out credit card payments
Responsible alcohol service in accordance with federal, state, and local liquor laws
Qualifications
Qualifications
Previous bartending experience in a full-service, high-volume environment is preferred
Works well in a team environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be comfortable with spontaneous casual conversation
Attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to multi-task
Passionate about going above and beyond expectations to provide every guest with tailored dining experiences
Knowledge about common food allergies and laws regarding the sale of alcohol and its consumption
