Pastry Cook Responsibilities
Apply advanced and precise baking techniques, proper use of kitchen equipment required for preparation
Daytime pastry prep and then plating desserts during service. Strictly follow all recipes according to company and chef standards.
Adhere to yield guidelines, and maintain detailed food knowledge
Follow Health Department regulations. Practice applicable health, safety, and sanitation procedures, including properly storing, labeling,dating, and rotating all products
Plate desserts during service
Keep a clean and organized work station and properly breakdown and set up kitchen equipment
Qualifications
Qualifications
Machine operated bakery equipment requires 18 yo
Previous pastry experience is preferred
Works well independently and on a team, follows Chef direction
English literacy and ability to do basic conversions for recipes
Dependable and displays a strong work ethic
Attention to detail and sense of urgency
Understanding of kitchen utensils, kitchen equipment, and safety and sanitation practices
