Outside Golf Operations

Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Outside Golf Operations Associates. The ideal candidates will assist our members in preparation for play, manage golf cart operations, maintain and monitor the driving range, oversee the golf course to regulate play, assist with tournament preparation, and maintain and organize the golf cart fleet. This role is crucial in ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Assistance:

• Greet and assist members with their golfing needs.
• Provide information about the golf course and club facilities.
• Ensure members are prepared for play, including assistance with tee times and equipment

Golf Cart Operations:

• Manage the golf cart fleet, ensuring carts are clean, charged, and ready for use.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on golf carts.
• Organize the staging of golf carts for daily use and special events.

Driving Range Maintenance:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the driving range.
• Monitor and restock golf balls and other supplies as needed.
• Ensure the safety and functionality of all driving range equipment.

Golf Course Monitoring:

• Patrol the golf course to ensure pace of play and adherence to club rules.
• Provide assistance to members on the course as needed.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise on the course.

Tournament Preparation:

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of tournaments and special events.
• Coordinate with the golf professional staff to ensure smooth operations during tournaments.
• Help with scoring, registration, and other tournament-related tasks.

Fleet Maintenance:

• Maintain and organize the golf cart fleet, including routine cleaning and servicing.
• Report any mechanical issues to the appropriate maintenance staff.
• Ensure all golf carts are stored properly and securely.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of golf operations and familiarity with the game of golf.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience in golf operations or a similar role is preferred but not required.
