Position Summary:
This individual must serve and protect the Members, guests, employees, property, and other resources of this upscale country club community.
Responsibilities:
- To include gatehouse and patrol duties
- Aid residents/Members
- Verify guest authorization, process entrants to the community
- Monitor grounds and homes
- Respond to all emergencies and incidents
- Perform a variety of other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Unarmed Officers License D only and active license
- 2 years of experience
- Country Club Experience preferred
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be proficient with using computers
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Must have a valid State of Florida Driver's License
- Must obtain and maintain CPR, AED, and 1st Aid Certifications
- Must be insurable under the Club's motor vehicle insurance policy
- Military, law enforcement, emergency medical or significant security experience is preferred
- Knowledge of safe, efficient mechanical operation of vehicles, golf carts, and other
- Must be able to use computer and software programs ABDI, excel, and word
- Ability to remain calm, think, and make decisions under stress
- Must be willing to take the initiative, and have the ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Must be able to walk extensively as well as sit or stand for extended periods of time while performing job functions.
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs in various forms
- Must be physically able to: run, jump, and to protect oneself from physical harm may be required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods both indoors and outdoors in the heat, cold, rain, etc.
- Performs regular patrols of the POA and Clubhouse, as assigned
- Reports safety and security defects, helping to ensure the property is well-maintained and assists in preventing loss claims
- Collaborated in generating security incident reports within 24 hours of incidents, ensuring incidents are well communicated with POA and Club leadership
- Coordinates efforts with officers during situations requiring first response:
- Ensures the authorities or first responders have been contacted, as appropriate.
- Responds to and provides first response in emergency situations while awaiting the appropriate authorities/ first responders.
- Guides first responders to the location of an emergency.
- Cares for the well-being of others throughout the process.
- Demonstrates genuine care, concern, and hospitality for all stakeholders, including team members, property owners, guests and vendors:
- Politely and professionally holds stakeholders accountable for the rules and regulations of the property.
- Screens incoming vehicles to ensure:
- The occupants have permission to access the property
- The driver is legally licensed, and in possession of said license
- Contacts residents in the event that a guest does not meet the qualifications of entry
- Occasionally audits entered vehicles, ensuring they have appropriately reached their destination
- Responds to resident calls, demonstrating genuine care and concern.
- Maintains and attires a clean and pressed uniform and polished shoes, demonstrating professionalism and pride.
- Includes a smile, and sincere attitude of hospitality as a part of the uniform.

- As a “Team Player” of Boca Woods Country Club, the Clubhouse Manager must be flexible and is required to perform any job, in whatever capacity, as requested by the General Manager that may be necessary for the smooth operation of Boca Woods Country Club.
