Job Description
BoConcept is opening it's third location in South Florida and we're looking for a great candidate as Store Manager.
Main Purpose:
Maximize company sales and profitability by leading, coaching and developing the store sales staff, empowering them to deliver a unique, friendly and exceptional shopping experience to each customer, all the time, every time.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Maximize the store’s sales and profitability, through each individual Sales Associate’s
performance by:
-Setting goals and targets for both store and individual SA’s
-Inspiring, motivating and challenging the staff to engage team members and drive
both individual and store results.
-Developing staff by providing training, coaching and timely feedback, and sharing
observations with Retail or General Manager
-Ensure the sales team is well informed about the company’s history, vision, mission and core values.
-Enforce a high level of work ethics, spirit and teamwork and a friendly working environment.
-Make sure the team is up to date and well informed on relevant news, new products,
campaigns, local marketing activities and events
-Work closely with Styling to guarantee optimal showroom visuals, appropriate product
availability and meeting of all visual and brand guidelines.
-Ensure optimal staffing of the store by planning and managing the work schedule.
-Coordinate and delegate tasks to ASM and Sales Associates to ensure all store routines are
done in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise ASM in all his administrative tasks and duties
-Support the hiring process of Sales Associates as directed by Retail or General Manager-Together with -Retail Operations, ensure the optimal flow of merchandise from warehouse to store and/or customer’s final delivery destination.
-Manage individual team members’ development plans promoting professional growth
-Plan and carry staff meetings, assigning a new responsible every time.
-Report all store related aspects to Retail or General Manager in monthly meetings, and carry
out all necessary action plans as directed and agreed.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education:
College degree is preferred
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales management position.
Experience as a manager in the retail industry is desirable, especially in high end durable
consumer goods.
Required Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills – great listener
Proficient in internal and external communication tools such as email (Outlook, Word, Power Point)
Analytical and problem solving skills Abilities:
Must demonstrate proven leadership and sales management experience
Ability to work in a team environment, collaborative and cooperative
High sense of discipline and able to follow procedures, rules and guidelines

Additional Information
Work Schedule and Conditions
5 days a week - store hours 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM
Must be able to work on weekends
Shift between individual work and slow paced to highly active and fast paced environments
Physical Requirements
Requires to handle merchandise on a regular basis (boxes, lamps, large accessories)
Able to reach overhead, bend and kneel when needed, carry product.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to use and climb ladders safely
