Field Technicians – New Hampshire
Bode Equipment Company is a turn-key distributor of material handling systems, construction, and loading dock/door solutions. Summary: Field Technicians for Service or Installation are part of the Operations Team. They work in the field and are responsible for installing and servicing for material handling equipment, loading dock equipment and a variety of industrial/commercial doors. The ideal person for this position will have a minimum of 2 years of Industrial mechanical experience, the desire to continue to improve their skills, and enjoy working in a variety of locations on a wide range of equipment
Responsibilities for Installation:
· Perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance service to material handling equipment, doors, dock equipment and various other industrial equipment.
· Evaluate and diagnose technical problems and determine proper repair/solutions.
· Operate vehicle in a safe manner.
· Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent service.
· Comply with company safety procedures.

Requirements:
· Professional demeanor in all customer and company encounters.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
· Experience with welding (stick and SMAW a plus), roofing, rigging and iron work is a plus
· Forklift experience
· Millwright Experience is a plus
· Electro-Mechanical experience is a plus
· Ability to Disassemble and reassemble machinery
· Hydraulic pump experience is a plus
· Experience with Pneumatics is a plus
· Self-motivated, team player, with ability to work with minimal supervision
· Dependable, excellent attendance and punctual time record
· Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
· Strong communication skills
· Able to stand for hours at a time and climb ladders, comfortable with heights
· Able to lift 50lbs.
· Proficient using power tools, hand tools, smart phone, and tablet PC
· Technical degree or certification a plus
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
· Must be at least 18 years old
· DOT Medical Card will be required, if you do not have one you will need to obtain one the first day of employment
· OSHA 10 will be required, if you do not have one you will be set up to take the test the first week of employment
