A leading HVAC services company based in Staten Island, NY, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Mobile Service Tech to support clients across the Tri-State area. This full-time permanent role offers competitive pay of up to $70 per hour for the right candidate. The technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing chiller and HVAC systems a host of other General Maintenance tasks at various client locations, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair services on commercial HVAC and chiller systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and heating systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment to prevent system malfunctions.
- Provide emergency repair services and respond to urgent maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and parts inventory.
- Travel to client sites throughout the Tri-State area, ensuring timely and professional service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and provide recommendations.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC or Chiller Technician, with expertise in commercial systems.
- Strong knowledge of chiller systems, including air-cooled and water-cooled units.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for HVAC and chiller systems.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the Tri-State area.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
