This position would allow for rapid advancement in direct communication and managing of corporate clients.
The ideal candidate must:
Be experienced in Accounting, Financial statement preparation (Audit, Review and Compilations), Financial statement analysis, Tax preparation (Corporate, Partnership and Personal) and Monthly accounting close processes.
Understand and apply accounting and tax principles, research and resolve reconciliation differences and communicate effectively with Clients, Staff and Owners.
Be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment whereby innovation and drive are critical and a positive and collaborative team oriented mind-set is continually present.
Compile and present Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Statement of Cash Flows Statement for multiple Clients and recording financial activities and transactions.
Perform monthly accounting closings for multiple Clients at times, therefore a working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Desktop and Sage 50 is a huge plus.
Reconcile bank statements, credit cards and loans to general ledger accounts and research and resolve identified differences.
Application of the privacy / confidentiality laws, regulations, regulatory standards, and policies and procedures applicable to CPA Firm and its Clients.
Preparation of Federal, State and Local tax returns for companies of various types and sizes as well as for individuals.
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize multiple projects with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and strong quantitative skills, along with the highest level of ethics, honesty and integrity.
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, databases), particularly spreadsheet experience. Experience in tax software preferred (UltraTax preferred, but Pro System FX, Lacerte and ProSeries also acceptable). Ability to learn new software's utilized for the job
Education - Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Experience - 3 - 7 years, work experience at a CPA firm highly preferred

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday during the year, OT during normal CPA Tax Season Time (Feb 1 - April 15)
