Position Summary
This position will provide pest and pesticide services to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center located in Charleston, SC. The facility description is below:
The main Complex is approximately 120 acres, located at 2000 Bainbridge Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina. It is comprised of a Visitors Center, Dormitories for 750 students; a Dining Hall that can feed up to 1,000 students per mealtime; a Classroom building containing 5 each 48-person classrooms, 6 each 30-person classrooms, 44 each 24-person classrooms, 1 each 16-person classroom, 14 each 12-person breakout rooms, and an auditorium; a 100-person conference/training area; an indoor firing range; a Countermeasure/ Virtual Firing Range Facility; a Driver Training Facility with a vehicle maintenance bay; a NEVO Skid Pan area; a Tactical Training Center; multiple Scenario Based Training Areas (SBTA), a Physical Training building with cardio and weight training equipment and mat rooms; an Aquatic Training facility; Practical Exercise areas for land and water based operations; a Student Center with a FLETC Post Office, a FLETC Express Store, deli, movie room, hardwood court, weight rooms, and cardio equipment.
The secondary Complex is approximately 110 acres located on the JBC/WS, 15 miles Northwest of the main Complex. The JBC/WS training area is comprised of 5 outdoor firearms ranges, as well as FLETC and contractor office space

Required Tasks
- Inspect and monitor facilities daily to identify and fix issues such as insects and pests.
- Report any problems related to insects and pests to the Contracting Officers Representative.
- Provide insect and rodent control measures.
- Provide facility vegetation control services.
- Must be able to select, apply, and evaluate control procedures.
- Must be able to safely and effectively apply and use required equipment.
- Must be able to handle, store, and transfer materials as needed.
- Must use all required safety equipment per Safety Data Sheets.
- Must be able to read and follow label instructions for the products used.
- We are seeking certified and non-certified staff.
- To obtain a commercial pesticide applicator license, you must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma (or GED equivalent), complete the proper training, and pass the exam.
