Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Facilities Quality Assurance (QA) Manager with recent experience in the inspection and oversight of facility-related work, including maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of work performed by Facilities and Grounds Maintenance staff as well as subcontractors. The QA Manager will also be tasked with overseeing compliance with applicable codes and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the International Building Code, National Electric Code, National Fire Protection Code, and Federal, State, and Local codes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance work performed by in-house staff and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Document and report on the quality of work completed, including acceptance, rejection, and noted deficiencies. Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure the effective oversight of all facility maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all work performed adheres to applicable codes, including but not limited to the International Building Code (IBC), National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Code (NFPA), and other Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Communicate deficiencies, corrective actions, and recommendations for improvement to Facilities and Grounds Maintenance staff, subcontractors, and senior management.
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure that necessary quality control measures are in place during all stages of work.
- Generate regular reports on inspection results, work quality, and compliance status. Provide clear and actionable feedback to improve overall work quality and performance.
- Work closely with facilities management teams to identify areas for improvement and ensure that quality standards are maintained across all areas of facility operations.
- Assist with the preparation of audits and compliance assessments to ensure that all work meets or exceeds established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
