Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. This role is crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, including reach trucks and clamp trucks, to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Utilize pallet jacks for transporting items within the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through the warehouse management system.
- Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proficient in operating a forklift.
