ABOUT THE ROLE:
BAA is seeking Lead Graphic Designer to drive the creative direction and execution of our visual content. This role is ideal for a highly skilled designer with leadership capabilities who can manage projects, mentor junior designers, and ensure brand consistency across all visual assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, digital and print design, and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design & Conceptualization: Create visually compelling graphics, layouts, and designs for digital, print, and branding materials.
- Project Leadership: Oversee design projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Brand Identity Management: Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and content teams to develop creative assets for campaigns, websites, social media, and more.
- Mentorship & Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers, providing feedback and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Production Oversight: Ensure that final designs meet industry and channel specifications.
- Creative Strategy: Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices to keep the brand’s visual identity fresh and competitive.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present design concepts and strategies to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned to support the team and company objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, digital, and print work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Experience with UI/UX design
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and motion graphics are a plus.
- Familiarity with social media and marketing design strategies and best practices across digital channels.
- Illustration and drawing skills are a plus.
