This is a brand-new, exciting location opening soon, and we’re looking for a motivated and sales-focused Assistant General Manager (AGM) to play a key role in building our studio’s success from the ground up.
Role Overview:
As the Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in all aspects of studio operations, with a primary focus on driving membership sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll be instrumental in fostering a results-oriented, team-driven culture while ensuring the studio runs smoothly and achieves ambitious growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Take ownership of the sales process, from lead generation to closing membership sales, and ensure the team meets and exceeds studio sales goals.
- Lead by example by personally engaging with prospects, conducting consultations, and showcasing the benefits of BFT memberships.
- Track and analyze sales metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to boost performance.
- Team Development:
- Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring sales associates to create a high-performing team.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure the team is equipped to deliver exceptional sales results and customer service.
- Operational Support:
- Manage daily studio operations, including opening and closing procedures, member management, and coordinating with the General Manager on scheduling.
- Ensure studio cleanliness, functionality, and a welcoming atmosphere for members and prospects.
- Community Engagement & Marketing:
- Represent BFT at local events, build relationships with nearby businesses, and actively promote the studio within the community to drive brand awareness and generate leads.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to implement promotional campaigns, social media strategies, and events to attract new members.
- Member Retention:
- Create an outstanding onboarding experience for new members, ensuring they feel supported and motivated.
- Build long-term relationships with members by understanding their fitness goals and providing solutions to help them succeed.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in a sales-driven role, preferably in fitness, health, or related industries.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in training and mentoring sales teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
