What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Body Wellness?
This a part time position. Accounting placement firms do not apply
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and financial record-keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QUICK BOOKS.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and process payroll, including tax filings and reporting
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Generate financial reports for management review
- Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Proven experience in QUICK BOOKS and bookkeeping or related field
- Proficiency in payroll processing, budgeting, and financial report writing
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and general ledger accounting
- Ability to perform account reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
- Familiarity with technical accounting standards and practices
- Previous experience in public accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
