We are seeking an experienced and passionate Regional Fitness Manager to oversee four boutique fitness studios with the potential for more locations in the future. This role is responsible for managing all aspects from instructors, classes and scheduling to private sessions and special events to ensure an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a strong background in fitness and team management.
This individual is the studio programming expert, ensures brand adherence, supports sales, leads instructor recruitment, builds community, and instructs classes. The role requires someone that is a fitness professional with management and leadership experience. Group instruction experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Instructor Management:
- Teach an average of 12 classes per week amongst all four studios and events.
- Substitute for classes as needed.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and evaluate fitness instructors.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure all instructors uphold company standards for class quality, client engagement, and safety.
- Manage class and instructor schedules and substitutions.
Class & Schedule Oversight:
- Develop and maintain class schedules for all four locations to optimize attendance and revenue.
- Monitor class performance, attendance trends, and client feedback to make data-driven scheduling decisions.
- Ensure all classes align with brand standards and client expectations.
- Handle all 1 on 1’s, small group sessions, & special events.
Event & Community Engagement:
- Collaborate and coordinate studio events, workshops, and promotional activities to drive member engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with Director of Growth & Operations and Regional Sales Manager to promote special events and partnerships.
- Help foster relationships with local businesses and influencers to increase brand visibility in collaboration with the Director of Growth & Operations and Regional Sales Manager.
Operational Leadership:
- Ensure consistency in studio policies, instructor expectations, and client experience across all locations.
- Work closely with the Director of Growth & Operations to implement strategies for growth and operational efficiency.
- Address any instructor or client concerns with professionalism and effective problem-solving.
- Equipment management: preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, ordering replacement parts as needed, etc.
- Conduct team meetings, coordinate events need and collaborate with business partnerships.
- Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class.
- Assist with sales and member recruitment
- Implement member retention strategies
- Provide excellent customer service and member experience
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a fitness leadership role is preferred but not required (studio manager, head instructor, or similar).
- Strong background in personal training, group fitness instruction and/or class programming is preferred but not required.
- Proficient with Google Suites including Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Calendar, Gmail
- Experience managing a team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze class performance metrics and make strategic adjustments.
- Passion for boutique fitness and community engagement.
- Proficient in the learning and use of new technologies (Mariana Tek experience a plus)
