HR Director
The HR Director is responsible for leading the development and execution of the human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This includes talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development and company culture. The HR Director acts as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team and provides guidance on HR best practices to support a positive company culture and align with business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's mission, values and goals.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify human capital priorities and develop effective solutions.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on organizational structure and company culture.
Talent Management:
- Lead and manage recruitment, onboarding/termination, and retention strategies/processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for key roles, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
- Lead workforce planning and talent development programs.
- Manage succession planning to ensure the future readiness of leadership roles.
Performance and Employee Relations:
- Lead and manage performance review and goal setting processes.
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations and foster a culture that supports growth and retention.
- Address complex employee relations issues, questions and concerns, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Consult outside legal counsel as needed
Compensation and Benefits:
- Evaluate and optimize the company’s benefits offerings in line with market trends.
- Lead annual open enrollment for benefits and be point person for benefits inquiries
- Conduct regular market assessments to ensure pay structures remain competitive.
- Manage and oversee ADPWorkforce now processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Policy and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Ensure HR practices support an equitable, inclusive and diverse work environment.
- Stay current on legal requirements and best practices related to HR.
- Ensure compliance with federal and multiple state employment laws, and manage reporting and audits as needed.
- Ensure employee documentation is maintained and organized in ADP Workforce Now
Organizational Development and Culture:
- Lead initiatives that strengthen company culture, wellness, recognition and employee engagement.
- Manage training, coaching and professional development programs.
- Support change management efforts for organizational growth and transformations.
HR Operations Management:
- Oversee the management of HR and Payroll systems and ensure data integrity.
- Develop metrics (KPI’s) and dashboards to measure HR effectiveness and impact.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Ability to lead, influence, and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and data analysis tools.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Work Environment:
- Office setting with a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- In office and on location required.
