The successful candidate will display extremely strong analytical skills, business acumen, operational rigor and exceptional people / communication skills, maximizing his / her ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally, as well as serve as an internal consultant to the senior leadership team through strategic analysis and data driven business decision making.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Create and drive the strategic planning process with the Leadership TeamUtilize outputs from long-term planning and marketing plans to regularly inform Marketing peers of Business objectives, strategies, and initiatives in order to ensure full alignment of cross-functional teamsSupport cross-functional teams in development of actionable growth strategies for core and adjacent markets for the BusinessCreate and manage a robust market and competitive research process, including a competitive pricing strategyContribute to the development of key insights and actionable strategies and tactics, based on market and competitive analysisAnalyze relevant data such as competitive information, industry trends, and historical performance to develop sound forecasts in support of plansDevelop business models and manage the process for business case, evaluation and ongoing measurement of programs, projects and new business opportunitiesEstablish the metrics required to measure business performance, and recommend the go-forward strategy to address performance gapsDrive the construction of highly innovative models to analyze new aspects of business performanceCoordinate regular weekly, monthly and quarterly status reportsSupport management of strategic engagements with external consultantsQUALIFICATIONS : 5 years of business experience in strategy, strategic planning, strategic marketing, corporate development and / or consultingBachelor's degree in business, marketing or similar field required; M.B.A. preferredExperience leading or contributing to strategic plans, competitive analysis, strategic partnerships and / or consulting engagementsAbility to analyze and distill complex information, drawing out relevant insights and implications into succinct, easily understood communicationsProven ability to develop and understand economic scenariosStrong program management and organizational skills, with experience supporting strategic projects working across multiple stakeholder groupsAbility to communicate internally and externally, across all levels of an organizationExpert level presentation skills using PowerPointExpert level data analysis skills using ExcelDESIRED ATTRIBUTES : Strong collaborative mindset with enthusiasm to drive stakeholder engagement and accomplish business objectivesAbility to work independently and set priorities to achieve desired resultsFoster an environment to embrace new approaches to businessHandle fast-paced and challenging job demandsBodybuilding.com offers its employees several benefits such as : health, dental and vision insurance; 401(k); competitive bonuses; gym membership reimbursement; employee discount.Bodybuilding.com is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
