The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.
- Accurately performs repetitive hardness testing throughout the day of metal parts and material then records the results in a computer.
- Calibrates hardness tester with appropriate blocks when needed.
- Physical demands of lifting, bending, and standing.
- Report any deviation, problem, or irregularity to the supervisor or management immediately.
- Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
- Perform other tasks as designated by position.
- This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of hardness testing is a plus yet willing to train.
- May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
