Due to the nature of our business and a heavy industrial market, Bodycote deems this position to be safety-sensitive.
Summary : Weld metal parts together as specified using TIG welder. Job duties include, but are not limited to : Setting up and operating TIG welder according to specifications, including equipment set-up, loading / unloading parts, monitoring the welding process and making adjustments to equipment as necessary; reading and interpreting drawings and specification sheets; inspecting and checking dimensions using precision gauges and measuring instruments; making adjustments to equipment to ensure quality parts are produced; completing production and labor reports; completing preventive maintenance procedures.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities) : The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.
This very active position will fabricate, join, and / or repair customer products, capsules, equipment, fixtures, and various types of metal objects and structures using TIG welding techniques. In addition, you will :
