Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Quality Assurance department located at our Gainesville, GA facility. As an Intern, you w ill work on various projects and process improvement initiatives relating to the QA partnership with Production, Material Receiving, Packaging, Quality Control and Logistics Departments . Duties & Responsibilities
- May assist with investigations
- Support Change Controls
- Learn documentation and day to day responsibilities of Quality Assurance functions in the supported departments to help ensure compliance with USDA requirements.
- Create tracking tools for department including Key Performance Indicators(KPIs)
Requirements
Requirements:
- Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
- Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
- Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
- Major or minor in related field of internship
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, VISIO, SharePoint, Power Apps)
- Knowledge/experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau
- Strong analytical capability and organization skills
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General understanding of cGMP Industry/Quality Systems (a plus)
