Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for emptying and washing 50 gallon barrels.
- Responsible for operating bottle grinder.
- Responsible for carrying trash from Production facility to proper locations.
- Responsible for carrying trash from labs to grinding room.
- Responsible for daily operation of autoclave.
- Responsible for glassware washing and sterilization procedures.
- Responsible for moving 50 lbs. of glassware on a regular basis.
- Responsible for wrapping glassware.
- Preforms cooperatively with a certified trainer and other certified technicians. Progression through the Demonstrated Skills-Based Training System is vital to performance and should be considered a priority.
- Additional responsibilities may include assisting in all areas of vaccine production.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- One (1) year of related experience in a manufacturing environment helpful.
- Must have knowledge of marek's production.
- Ability to lift / push / pull, 50 lbs. consistently must be able to lift and carry a weight of 50 lbs., a distance of 50 ft. on a regular basis.
- Must be able to squat, bend, and stoop, as well as twisting and turning.
- Must stand on feet for extended periods of time and work in a sterile production environment.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity are important.
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE.)
- Ability to share workload and responsibilities of other departmental employees.
- Must be a team player and work well with others.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours. Regular attendance is a must.
- Self-motivated. Ability to think ahead to next task. Ability to work well under time constraints.
