Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced scientist to join our Biomarker Discovery group in Ridgefield, CT.
This individual will develop and implement innovative biomarker assays to support our Immunology and Respiratory Department portfolio projects.
They will work closely with colleagues to design, execute, and troubleshoot complex experiments and present results at internal and external meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement experimental approaches to contribute to the Biomarker Discovery group goals.
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot routine and innovative TE/PD and disease biomarker assays.
- Collaborate with colleagues to advance therapeutic concepts through their lifecycle.
- Present work at internal and external meetings.
- Train junior scientists in laboratory operations.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience in a related scientific discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with immunoassay development, including cell-based and ligand-binding assays.
- Experience using standard laboratory techniques such as mammalian cell tissue culture, peripheral blood cell isolation and culture, DNA/RNA extraction, RT-qPCR, western blot.
