The Associate Director/Senior Associate Director, Patient Data Governance – Data Warehousing and Analytics provides deep expertise in the area of patient 360 and consumer data warehousing and analytics. The role has primary responsibility for designing business capabilities for managing patient identified data and transactional data to enable and support marketing and patient services. Leads the day-to-day Data and Analytics team operation and business analysis. Determines processes and procedures and monitors overall data quality and identifies and executes on action plans to improve quality.

Associate Director, Patient Data Governance – Data Warehousing and Analytics Requirements:
This position offers a base salary typically between $140,000 and $222,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance-based bonus and or other compensation elements

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides business data warehousing expertise and leads the requirements , design and operations process for identified data warehousing and patient 360
- Lead and manages the business data warehousing and analysis team
- Defines data models and identifies business requirements, business rules and quality criteria for a Patient 360 and appropriate reporting and analytics
- Designs analytical capabilities and models
- Liases with Data Privacy to understand data privacy requirements and collaborates with Brand and Patient Services to interpret and translate business needs into data governance and data warehousing requirements and data management needed to support patient/consumer interactions
- Provides platform requirements to IT and vendors
- Conducts periodic data quality audits, and monitors data health and trends. Reviews data quality reports and communicates status to Information Management leadership
- Oversees the business implementation, process integration, and maintenance of the data warehousing and analytics platform. Accountable for training and communication related to DW and supporting technology
Associate Director, Patient Data Governance – Data Warehousing and Analytics Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- Candidate must have seven (7) years of related pharmaceutical industry experience with five (5) years of secondary data experience in sales operations, sales/marketing analytics, market research, managed markets or business Analysis
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross functional project teams and influencing upward
- Ability to manage a large vendor and hold them accountable for data accuracy and meeting deliverable
- Prior budgeting experience helpful
- More than six (6) years project management experience
- Identifies emerging pharmaceutical industry data sources, evaluates its effectiveness in business practices the recommends its use across Prescription Medicines
- Ensures best practices of third party data usage
- Accountable for assisting in negotiating third party data vendor pricing in support of sales analytics, managed markets, market research and other various analytical departments
- Working knowledge of third party sub-national data sets used to support sales and marketing. Previous work experience in targeting, call planning, sales and/or marketing analytics is preferred
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of nine plus (9 ) years of experience in pharmaceutical industry is required
- Master's degree from an accredit institution and a minimum of seven plus (7 ) years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Masters degree preferred
- Must have seven plus (7 ) years of related pharmaceutical industry experience with five (5) years of secondary data experience in sales operations, sales/marketing analytics, market research, specialty pharmacy, managed markets or business analysis
- Working knowledge of third party sub-national data sets used to support sales and marketing. Experience with specialty pharmacy and distributor data
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and influencing upward
- Ability to manage multiple large vendors and hold them accountable for data accuracy and meeting deliverable
- Prior data governance experience strongly preferred
- Prior budgeting experience helpful
