The Team Leader, Global Supply is responsible for operational oversight of all Exporting compliance functions, with some import functions in accordance with 15CFR and 19CFR of the Federal Regulations. This role manages the export team positions, distributing territory assignments and ensure team is keeping export workflow in a timely manner. The position holder is accountable for leading team in investigations, deviations and CAPAs, as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Identifies interface issues between GBS-BIX@ and finds a solution to avoid order delays
- Generates and analyzes reports in GBS to ensure all orders are closed correctly
- Works closely with all business partners to ensure smooth shipping process. Which includes, but not limited to: Distribution, Planning, Quality, Trade Compliance, Global colleagues, and Customers
- Investigates and assigns HTSC (Harmonized Tariff Schedule Classifications, which includes maintaining the Product Database module
- Keeps updated on Trade Compliance regulations, serving as a back-up to the ECE (Export Compliance Expert)
- Point of communication for Global Supply, Freight forwarders, Airlines, and other business partners in relation to export/import operations. Which includes the tender freight rates
- Coordinates and maintains all internal SOP's. Maintain and enhance the team's curricula, making sure that they are fully, consistently trained
- Leads the Logistics team, which includes managing their workload, tracking performance, guiding their development, and developing team KPIs to provide continuous efficiencies
- Must meet established Customer Service targets, Trade compliance (EAR, CBP, Census), Partnering Government Agency (USDA/APHIS/FDA/EPA), supply chain security (C-TPAT) and ICAO/IATA/DG regulations in accordance with 15CFR, 19CFR and 49CFR of the Federal Regulations
- Ensures there is a compliant process and it is done with accordance to all regulations, which includes ECCN classifications and Export License determination
- Maintains shipment history and transparency to the organization
- High School Degree with seven to ten (7-10) years related experience
- Associates Degree with five to seven (5-7) years related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and experience in related business or field
- Demonstrated ability to train others
- Ability to follow systematic continuous improvement methodologies and the willingness to identify, define and implement process improvements
- Experience in conflict resolution, analytical and problem solving
- Must be detailed oriented, able to work with minimal supervision and self-motivated to utilize resources to troubleshoot as needed
- Ability to manage multiple on-going projects with aggressive deadlines
- Strong proofreading skills along with excellent communication and written capabilities
- Experience with Microsoft (Word, Excel Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and database management
- Experience in SAP is preferred
- Ability to learn and quickly become proficient in all software applications
- Skilled at reading, accurately interpreting, and applying government regulations and company policies
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
