JOB SUMMARY |
Responsible for ensuring the manufacture of quality products, on-time, and in an efficient manner through the effective management of the direct labor sector of the Company.

- Manages and monitors all phases of the production process, ensuring compliance with established procedures, manufacturing standards, and approved processes.
- Plans, schedules, and coordinate departmental activities to meet customer demands with on-time delivery.
- Determines production head count needs; re-allocates existing personnel or requests additional resources as needed.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; ensuring employees are trained properly for their respective function and are aware of the QMS and related procedures governing the manufacture of aerospace products.
- Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; works in conjunction with Human Resources on coaching, counseling, disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Maintains a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all state and federal regulations, Company policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains and protects the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience |
Education:
- A high school diploma is required; a two/four-year college (Associate / Bachelor’s) degree, Trade or Technical school certificate or diploma is preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience is required.
Skills:
- Technical capacity, problem solving/analysis, leadership, project management, initiative, time management, and communication proficiency
