JOB SUMMARY |
The Quality Assurance (QA) Intern assists the Quality Department in ensuring the company achieves its goal of 100% quality. The QA Intern will assist Quality Engineers analyzing and interpreting data; Quality Assurance Administrators in upholding quality standards and metrics. Completing the internship, the QA intern should have a foundational understanding of aerospace industry standards and regulation.

- Support Quality Department by monitoring and analyzing customer satisfaction KPI and internal data (such as nonconformance and corrective actions)
- Assists Quality Engineers with improvements and problem-solving using quality tools such as Process mapping, SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, Kaizens, A3s, fishbones, root cause analysis etc.
- Suggest quality improvement plans and instruction plans.
- Assist with audits
- Identify and understand customer requirements to support production and engineering.
- Support in maintaining calibration log and records; MRB cage; various databases such as nonconformance and corrective action; tooling and equipment records.
- Support Quality Administrators in preparing FAIs, reports.
- Organize store and scan records.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience |
Education:
- Actively pursuing a four-year degree or post graduate degree, preferable in a field related to Aerospace Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Supply Chain.
- Or 1-2 years post graduate with a relevant degree.
