Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Apache Training Systems team. In this role, the focus will be on the responsibility for managing the FMS Apache aircrew and maintenance training devices along with the Post Production Sustainment Services (PPSS) efforts (e.g. existing contract execution on the Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT), developing proposals to grow the business). The Program manager will be responsible for managing the upcoming Multi-Year II contract which includes the new FMS customers such as Australia, Egypt, Kuwait, and Poland along with current FMS customers from Multi Year I. The Program Manager will also be supporting DCS campaigns such as UK and India. Position is located Hazelwood, MO.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option.
Position Responsibilities Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Manages employees and first-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management

Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives. Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
-
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
-
Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan

Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
-
5 years of experience do you in a role requiring project / program management skills
-
3 years experience in Earned Value Management
-
5 years of experience with execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

Have an Earned Value Management certification

Experience dealing with US Military and FMS customers

Experience working in Training Systems or working on an aircrew or maintenance trainer

Experience working in a cross functional environment

Experience with developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders

Experience with SAFE / Agile

Experience writing proposals, Request For Information (RFIs) and/or Request For Proposal (RFPs)

Experience managing employees

Summary pay range: $157,250 - $212,750
