Position Overview

The Coordinator, Communication oversees all of the day-to-day areas of operations to provide the best customer and employee experience in stores. The role is responsible for driving results through partnerships with the Field Leadership Team to ensure operational procedures are executed efficiently. The Coordinator is responsible for working closely with all home office teams to increase efficiencies that streamline processes and communications. The Coordinator assist with creating and posting in our internal communications platform, defines priorities and drives operational improvements and efficiencies by identifying opportunities and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create aesthetically appropriate presentations that align with the business needs.
  • Create branded content in different media formats.
  • Work with other operations/communications/channel trading team members to produce content.
  • Create guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed and used
  • Operations Team Content Creator
  • Decks, Videos, Templates, Podcast
  • SOP /Templates for Communications Platform including. o Posts and Missions o Images and Content Creation o General questions o Store Hours o Weather Updates o Platform Oversight o Platform Training o Platform Phase Management o Reporting o Posting Strategy o Branding and Maintenance o Analytics and reporting o Content Calendar Owner
  • Create, implement and maintain organizational systems that focus on the highest level of efficiency.
  • Prepare and edit communications, presentations and other documents
  • Special assignments as assigned to enable Stores / Operations overall functionality
  • Spend time in stores learning, and engaging our store teams to understand how to drive communications forward
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to deliver designs and presentations
  • Provides the highest level of customer service to the field and home office, communicating with multiple levels within the organization
  • Assist in driving and delivering project timelines and help align field leadership
  • Manage other projects as assigned to enable the customer and employee experience

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution and follow up skills
  • Strong Graphic design background
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities successfully
  • Experience working in a marketing department
  • Strong design principles and values from experience while collaborating with partners and absorbing feedback
  • Time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with various deadlines
  • Creative mindset to be able to bring a design to life with simple instructions
  • Flexibility to be able to switch between projects or pivot quickly
  • Strong communication skills (listening, written, verbal, facilitation) and the ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Excellent professional and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Must display a high level of leadership, innovation and able to be solution oriented when approaching projects, tasks and deadlines
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to work independently and make effective well thought out decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to be resourceful, creative and time sensitive when faced with multiple demands and challenging deadlines
  • Must be able to travel
  • Must be able to work various hours depending on project scope and needs
  • Excellent/Advanced Excel skills; strong Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Adobe Suite, Canva, Illustrator, Entire Adobe Design Suite
