What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Bog & Barley?
A host is the first point of contact for patrons of our restaurants. Hosts greet both in-person guests and those who call on the phone in a friendly and professional manner. Hosts inquire about patrons’ needs, party size, etc. and work with the rest of the staff to ensure a positive experience for restaurant guests. Hosts learn the seating chart and menu and will be able to answer guests’ general questions.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Commitment to providing high-quality customer service
- Casual but professional appearance
- Ability to provide warm and gracious hospitality
- Ability to speak clearly and articulately on the telephone, providing information and answering questions for callers, while focusing on etiquette and conveying a sense of calm
Pay: $10 per hour plus tip outs
