Salary : 90K-120K
Bogart Constructions Project Managers are responsible for overseeing multiple projects of varying complexity from conception to completion. They ensure the financial success of the project by closely monitoring the budget to achieve the gross income expectations of the management team. The overall success of the project includes proper subcontractor buy out, assisting the superintendent with scheduling and positive owner communications and relationships.
Responsibilities / Duties :
Manage Job Cost Reports closely to meet budget and gross income expectations
Buy out subcontracts for budget and project success
Manage, review and qualify subcontractor proposals and change orders
Assist superintendent including subcontractor management, RFI oversight, submittal management and schedule management
Implement LEAN Construction Principals and Practices on all projects
Coordinate and maintain positive communications with project owners, architects, and designers
Manage labor budgets and making projects more efficient and profitable.
Work cooperatively with senior level clients to build and maintain relationships.
Work cooperatively with Director of Field Operations members to ensure the companys objectives are being met.
Required Skills :
BS degree in one of the following - Business, Engineering, Construction or Architecture
Excellent in Excel, Projects, MS Word, MS Outlook
Minimum 10-15 years experience in commercial construction
Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and understand plans, specifications, lease exhibits, landlord requirements, work letters etc.
Highly organized, efficient, motivated, ethical, entrepreneurial spirit
Fosters a creative and enthusiastic can do attitude.
Work well under pressure, especially when faced with unexpected occurrences and delays.
Familiarity with computers & software programs for Job Costing, tracking reports, scheduling, and estimating.
Ability to coordinate several tasks at once while resolving specific problems.
