The Parts Manager provides vital leadership and direction to the parts department team and has a direct impact on parts sales and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain policies and practices which will ensure positive customer relations.
- Assess present and future requirements, current trends, areas of improvement and profit opportunities of the Parts Department.
- Lead the team in a helpful and approachable manner
- Monitor the status of customer orders, advise in case of problems and notify upon arrival.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and track parts usage to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Manage the price margins on a daily and monthly basis, ensuring the goals are met per the parts annual budget.
- Establish policies and procedures to maximize inventory security
Requirements :
- 2 years previous parts experience.
- High School degree or equivalent, college degree is preferred.
