About us
Bognar and Company, Inc. is known throughout the steel and foundry industries as a reputable supplier of carbon products, which include recarburizers for ladle addition, injection, charge and foaming slag. We custom blend, crush, dry, screen and package our products to best suit the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks in a manufacturing environment, such as making, screening, and packaging products
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Collect and label samples as needed.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
Requirements:
- Successfully passing a prescreen drug & alcohol test will be required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
- Able to work in all weather conditions, subject to temperatures based on outside weather.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Summary
As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be integral to the production process within our manufacturing facility, reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. Your role will involve operating assembly lines and utilizing your mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient manufacturing practices. With a focus on safety and quality, you will also be expected to operate forklifts and handle various hand and power tools. Strong communication skills will be essential as you collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow. Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
