Bogner, known worldwide for exclusive and luxurious designer sports fashion, is seeking a Retail Stock Associate with luxury retail sales experience to join the Bogner of America team at our Woodbury Commons location in Central Valley, NY. This is a part-time position with a pay scale of $17-$19/hour.
The Stock Associate must provide the highest level of operational support to the sales team. The Stock Associate is responsible for maintaining inventory levels in the stock area and on the selling floor. The Stock Associate must be proficient with our retail software and maintain visual standards of sales floor. The Stock Associate will partner with management to reconcile inventory and assist with ensuring proper inventory reporting.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Complete all processing and receiving activities in accordance with productivity standards timelines
- Verify each shipment against the shipping invoice and notify management of discrepancies. Complete and file relevant documentation promptly.
- Maintain a neat and organized stock area, separate stock by style, color and size
- Steam incoming merchandise when necessary
- Hang or fold merchandise and place on racks to be taken to the selling floor.
- Learn and apply packing policies & techniques to ensure that every customer receives their package in good condition
- Participate in stockroom maintenance, organization, and housekeeping
- Assist in replenishment of stock onto the sales floor
- Assist in inventory process and markdown process
- Assist the Management Team in the movement of fixtures and merchandise for new product, season changes, and clearance set
- Develop a strong knowledge of Bogner products to assist sales team with maintenance, recovery, and replenishment of stock.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma/GED Equivalent required
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Teamwork
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to approach work with a continuous learning mentality and strive to learn and apply new skills, methods, and processes
- Proven skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with customers over the phone and via email in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner
- Good organizational skills; detail oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact politely and professionally with customers and coworkers, even in demanding situations
- Ability to learn and effectively use inventory and POS systems
Physical Demands: In general, a moderate degree of physical stamina is required to perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to move around the store, including the stock room, and prolonged periods of standing are often necessary. The employee frequently reaches with hands and arms, with some bending and twisting, to retrieve and hang merchandise, as well as to vacuum and mop. The employee will regularly be required to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more. Stress may result from work demands, including busy holiday seasons and interaction with difficult customers.
