What are the responsibilities and job description for the BOH-Concrete Finisher position at BOH and BRM Construction?
Concrete Finisher
Opportunity available for an experienced concrete finisher / cement mason. This individual must observe all Boh Bros. safety protocols and be drug-free. Must have consistent and reliable transportation to and from job sites assigned.
Duties include but are not limited to shoveling concrete, working with hand and power tools to patch, trowel, and finish concrete after placement, apply paint type finishes to concrete with rollers and brushes, checking string lines, housekeeping at job site, checking safety protocol, beginning of shift set-up and end of shift clean-up, etc. Must be able to work in a team setting with other craft workers engaged in heavy construction activities.
Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions, cold, heat, humidity, and frequently at heights and in excavations, able to work at various job sites and locations assigned, able to read a tape measure, and understand directions. Also may be exposed to hazards associated with but not limited to dust, odors, fumes, noise, and vibration hazards.
Able to work with various hand and power tools needed to place and finish concrete.
Must have experience in the road or industrial construction field, working outdoors in extreme weather conditions and understand simple directions. Must be devoted and reliable. Current TWIC required.
