Who You Are:
A self-starting detail-oriented rock star who can monitor and manage client vendor/marketing/merchandising ad and promotional projects from concept to completion, contract to execution to reporting.
What You Would Do:
- Intimately understand the client’s business, industry and project goals.
- Work side-by-side with client, it’s vendor partners and agency team to manage media budgets, merchandising activity, such as promotion events, Co-Op and added value to build greater partnership.
- Responsible for calendar build out in conjunction with marketing team, agency and vendors that is strategic and actionable.
- Build relationships with clients’ top vendors to support client Marketing Team
- Work closely with agency team to produce and approve briefs and deliver on all defined tasks, budget and timing that accurately reflects the scope of work.
- Work closely with clients’ merchandising team to support and report agreed to campaigns, promotions, rebates and other items impacting profitability.
- Track and report on progress of clients’ top vendors spending to plan.
- Work closely with agency Account Director to assign strategic and creative work relating to vendor or client requests.
- Collaborate with team members throughout the work process to foster, facilitate and consistently deliver great work that mirrors client expectations, on time, and on budget.
- Manage project change requests and coordination of all project deliverables to ensure team is staying on track.
- Develop relationships with partner/vendors to ensure holistic omni channel strategies and campaigns.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related/applicable field
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in agency account service, project management, or client-side experience in Merchandising or sales promotion.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of customer service through ongoing communication.
- Ability to continuously be solutions based, always thinking ahead and anticipating issues or managing them if/when they arise.
- Experience understanding, managing, and delivering on large scale budgets with moving parts and ensuring with finance that invoicing is completed on time and accurately.
