Your Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- CAD System Support - Provide daily technical support for AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other CAD-based systems, assisting engineers and designers with any software-related issues or questions.
- Software Installation & Configuration - Install, configure, and maintain CAD software, updates, and plugins to ensure optimal system performance and compatibility with project requirements.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution - Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to CAD software, including system crashes, errors, and performance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project workflows.
- Training & Guidance - Assist team members with best practices, software features, and shortcuts to improve productivity. Provide on-the-job training and ongoing support for new users.
- Documentation & Reporting - Maintain detailed records of CAD-related issues, solutions, and software updates. Prepare and maintain documentation on software configurations and system settings.
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams - Work closely with engineers, project managers, and IT staff to ensure that CAD software is fully aligned with the needs of active projects.
- Quality Control - Review CAD files and designs to ensure that they adhere to company standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
- Professional Experience - 1-3 years of experience in CAD software support, preferably in an engineering or architectural environment.
- Technical Skills - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant CAD software. Familiarity with file management, system configurations, and customization is preferred.
- Problem-Solving Mindset - Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communication Skills - Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users and provide clear, concise guidance and support.
- Organizational Skills - Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Team-Oriented - Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and IT teams to ensure smooth operations and improve workflows.
