- Spring Jinks - Monday, June 9th - Sunday, June 15th
- Spring Picnic - June 28
- Encampment - Monday, July 7th - Friday, August 1st
Description: With acres of towering redwood forest nestled in Sonoma County's Russian River wine country, The Bohemian Grove provides an amazing environment to work in. Members of the Bohemian Club have gathered at the Grove for many years to enjoy the Arts. Members and their guests participate in various performances, concerts, lectures, nature walks, and fine dining. During the summer events, we strive to deliver world-class service to our members and their guests while providing an enjoyable environment for our staff. Grove staff are hardworking, gracious, collaborative, and value working in a strong team environment.
Bromley Camp is an individual campsite located within the Bohemian Grove. Its layout consists of a large rustic Lodge and multiple surrounding cabins. During the events it will be the Campsite Attendants' responsibility to provide excellent service to the Bromley camp. This is including but not limited to ensuring the visual aesthetic of the property, perform light housekeeping, stocking inventory, record keeping, and assisting with other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Bromley Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bromley Attendants will be needed for the Spring Jinks and Summer Encampment Events ONLY (see dates above)
MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Experience in the service/hospitality industry preferable
- Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints with ease
- Speak with others using clear and professional language
- Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely
- Answer telephones and/or radio using appropriate etiquette
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees, members, and managers
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Required to work nights, weekends, and varying schedules
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional per policy standards
- Successfully complete a criminal background investigation and adhere to the Bohemian Club Drug Policy
OTHER
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Club. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Bohemian Club rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the Club’s facilities. Employees who violate Club rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
