Our Charlotte, North Carolina office is looking for a Business Development Manager who embodies this purpose.
What Youll Do :
As a Business Development Manager at Bohler, you will :
- Partner with Business Development Leaders on business development strategies and implementation plans
- Conduct market research. Present findings to Leadership for evaluation of probable investment.
- Identify and develop relationships with existing and potential clients, associations, and business networks in an effort to expand Bohlers market share and brand growth awareness
- Meet with existing vendors, sub-consultants, and business partners for lead generation
- Collaborate with Project Managers and branch leadership to provide recommendations for expanding and executing on opportunities and leads
- Work directly with branch leadership to develop leads, coordinate proposals, and schedule presentations in collaboration with the Marketing Business Partner
- Collaborate with Project Managers and the Marketing Business Partner on preparation of successful RFP submissions and contracts
- Proactively maintain CRM data and follow-ups accordingly
- Support Business Development Leaders and help drive established sales goals and metrics
- Research industry and networking events, and coordinate attendance at such value- added events
- Attend industry events to increase industry / client knowledge and connections
- Evaluate and share findings on those events that prove effective verse those that should be discontinued
- Facilitate introductions and meetings with potential leads, clients, and industry-peers
- Partner with Project Managers to curate project sites and track accordingly
- Practice continual emersion and learning of land development industry and life-cycle to better support the business
- Assist Business Development Leaders with communication and engagement of Project Managers and clients
- Serve as a resource and mentor for staff in Business Development best practices, enforcing the importance continued efforts
- Assist Leaders with Business Development for key staff
