Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor . The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and a strong understanding of structural steel painting, prepping, loading and material handling. You will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to project timelines.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply paint or other finishes using spray equipment, sometimes rollers and or brushes.
- Assist in material handling and loading trucks by project specifications.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and quality control.
- Restore surfaces as necessary, ensuring durability and visual appeal.
