Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, test, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
- Maintain needed inventory.
- Perform pulmonary function tests with DLCO and adjust equipment to obtain optimum results in therapy.
- Facilitate efficient clinical workflow.
- Administering inhalants per protocol.
- Ability to perform arterial blood gas analysis.
- Explain procedure to patients.
- Monitor patients' physiological responses to therapy and consult with physician if adverse reactions occur.
- Perform other duties as needed.
