Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to lead groups through various attractions, providing engaging and informative experiences. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for educating others about the history, culture, and significance of the sites being visited. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to organize thoughts/assets, and to manage time effectively while ensuring superior customer satisfaction. Must be able to drive a van safely with confidence, complete with a simple headset.
Duties
- Lead groups of Visitors on tours, providing insightful commentary and answering questions about the location's history and significance.
- Educate Guests on various aspects of the tour, ensuring a rich learning experience.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills by managing group dynamics and ensuring all participants feel included and engaged.
- Utilize effective communication techniques to convey information clearly and engagingly.
- Manage time efficiently to adhere to tour schedules while allowing for questions and interactions with guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or needs of the participants during the tour.
- For bilingual or multilingual candidates, offer tours in multiple languages to accommodate diverse groups.
- Being able to prep and organize assets for smooth tour launches
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required; some training will be provided.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage an audience effectively.
- Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable, enhancing the tour experience for non-English speaking guests.
- A passion for history, culture, or tourism will greatly benefit candidates in this role.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 45 per week
